About this piece

“Lenticular Majesty” captures Mount Shasta beneath a massive lenticular cloud formed by strong winds crossing the volcano. Photographed with a Hasselblad X1D from a different side of the mountain, the image emphasizes the scale and strange beauty of this rare atmospheric event. The broad white cloud appears suspended above the summit like a sculpted form in motion, contrasting with the dark forested slopes and dense foreground brush below. The result is both grounded and otherworldly — a portrait of the mountain under an extraordinary sky.

I release limited edition California fine art prints in small runs of 25. "Lenticular Majesty" is available either in Collector's Print (Unframed) on Hannemühle fine art paper, or in Museum Framed Edition on Hannemühle fine art paper, under Acrylic glass and framed with mounting hardware installed. A Certificate of Authenticity indicating the print number within the edition, and signed by the Artist, will be provided to each collector.
