Crown of Stillness

"Crown of Stillness"was photographed on March 11, 2026, at sunset during a rare lenticular cloud event over Mount Shasta. Made with a Hasselblad X1D during a three-minute exposure, the image captures the mountain in luminous evening light, suspended beneath a smooth atmospheric crown and reflected in the still water below. The quiet symmetry and softened motion of the cloud give the scene an almost dreamlike presence, revealing both the serenity and underlying power of this iconic Northern California volcano.

I release limited edition California fine art prints in small runs of 25. "Crown of Stillness" is available either in Collector's Print (Unframed) on Hannemühle fine art paper, or in Museum Framed Edition on Hannemühle fine art paper, under Acrylic glass and framed with mounting hardware installed. A Certificate of Authenticity indicating the print number within the edition, and signed by the Artist, will be provided to each collector.
